Meet the Doctor
Renée Roland, DDS, MS
“I LOVE my job and am extremely passionate about what I do. I feel very appreciative to be able to work with amazing children, their parents and adults to help create a beautiful, healthy smile. It is extremely satisfying and rewarding, especially seeing how it can change their lives. Your Smile is our signature, and we mean that with all sincerity. We value you, and we appreciate the trust you put into myself and our office. Our goal is to exceed your expectations, and we strive to take care of you and your family as we would take care of our own. Being a parent myself, I truly view you and/or your child as I would my own.”
Dr. Renée Roland was born and raised in Elma, New York, a small rural town south of Buffalo. She graduated with her biology degree summa cum laude from Canisius College, and she was awarded early acceptance into the School of Dental Medicine at the University at Buffalo. During dental school, Dr. Renée excelled in both academic and clinical settings. She was the recipient of numerous awards and scholarships at UB and graduated as the valedictorian of her class. In order to further her knowledge and expertise in the dental/orthodontic field, after her residency she continued her education and specialized in orthodontics at the University of Rochester, earning a Master’s degree in Dental Science.
Dr. Renée is also an associate professor at the University of Rochester’s Eastman Dental Center, where she teaches and supervises orthodontic residents. She views herself as a lifetime student, always learning and only advocating technology that has been proven to be evidenced-based and heavily researched. She has also been published research articles on projects she was involved in.
She is also the attending orthodontist for the Pediatric Cleft and Craniofacial Team at Golisano Children’s Hospital where she sub-specializes in treating children with cleft lip and palate and other craniofacial anomalies.
